Thank you for your interest in joining Well-Mamas Counseling. As our San Diego practice is quickly growing, we are excited to hire more clinicians to support families during such a special time in their lives. Our practice specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families in the peripartum stages of life, supporting them with the adjustments and challenges of the journey.

Additionally, we believe that therapy should be accessible, and our providers are paneled with some health insurance plans in order to do so.

Registered Associate Psychotherapist

ACCEPTING Applications (In-office & Hybrid positions available- Interviews late September 2026)

This position requires applicants to be registered associates (AMFT, ASW, APCC) in the State of California. All associate psychotherapists receive paid supervision from a licensed clinician while working at Well-Mamas. Candidates must have a special interest in perinatal mental health. Candidates must be available to work part-time (complete 80 client-contact hours per month) or full-time (complete 100 client-contact hours per month).

Candidates would be W-2 employees. The compensation rate is based on experience and ranges from $36-$39 per clinical hour and $18.00 per administrative hour, which are to be paid out twice a month.

Licensed Mental Health Clinicians

CLOSED APPLICATIONS (In-office & Hybrid positions)

This position requires the applicant to be fully licensed in the State of California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. Candidates must have a special interest in perinatal mental health and the ability to work 35+ clinical hours per week to complete 100 client-contact hours per month. Candidates would be W-2 employees. The compensation rate is dependent on experience and ranges per clinical hour and per administrative hour. Wages are paid out twice a month.
