Clinical Approach

Claudia is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is a strength-based and holistic practitioner who strives to support each individual in finding their path towards resiliency. She is passionate about helping families find and create little moments of joy. Her passion for early childhood and perinatal mental health lead to a postgraduate fellowship in infant-parent mental health. Claudia has a passion for connecting people to resources and nurturing a person’s connection to their village.

Claudia attended UC Davis and National University where she completed a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology (2011) and National University to complete a Masters of Art in Counseling Psychology (2013).

Her Passions…

Claudia is a wife, mommy to a little boy and two pups. She loves seeing the world through the eyes of her son and enjoys connecting with others. She enjoys traveling and getting to know new places and cultures. She loves learning and wishes she could constantly sign up for trainings. She is passionate about advocating for maternal mental health and accessible mental health services.

Claudia served as member of a board of directors to a local nonprofit organization that served the San Diego perinatal community. Her prior work experienced encompasses providing individual, family and group therapy in a not for profit outpatient clinic and school based setting.
