Aetna
All our clinicians accept HMO and PPO Aetna clients.
We currently do not accept Aetna Medi-Cal insurance.
No prior authorization is needed for mental health counseling.

Cigna (Formerly EverNorth)
All clinicians accept Cigna (aka Evernorth) HMO, and PPO insurance.
No prior authorization is needed for mental health counseling.

MHN/HealthNet
We accept MHN HMO, MHN UC Blue & Gold HMO, and PPO insurance plans.
Only licensed clinicians are approved providers for MHN/Health Net: Heather, Brenda, Jenica, Maria, and Kristen.
No prior authorization is needed for mental health counseling.

Magellan Health
Effective 1/1/24: We will be accepting Magellan Health clients. At this time only the following licensed providers are approved: Heather, Brenda, Jenica, Kristen and Maria.
No prior authorization is needed for mental health counseling.

Tricare West
We accept Tricare West insurance for active duty service member and their dependents. For Tricare West Prime, there is no cost for receiving services. Tricare West Select members may have an out of pocket expense for receiving counseling.
The following providers accept Tricare West: Itzel, Claudia, Heather, Brenda, Jenica, Maria and Kristen.
Prior authorization is only needed for Active Duty Service Members.

Medi-Cal Plans
Effective 1/1/2024: If you are insured with HealthNet Medi-Cal , they will no longer be serving San Diego County residents. At this time we will not be servicing San Diego County Medical-Cal plans but will continue to service residents in other counties.

Sharp Health Plan
We will continue to work with Sharp Health Plan members under the umbrella of Magellan Health. We will continue to be in network with Sharp Health Plan until 1/31/24 and do not foresee issues when Magellan Health takes over the mental health services for Sharp patients.
No prior authorization is needed for mental health counseling.

Have another Insurance?
Did you know that if you have a PPO insurance plan, you may be able to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket costs for counseling. Additionally, if you have a Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account, counseling is an approved expense.
